South Africa's Zuma Gives Go-Ahead for Probe Into Health NGOs
President Jacob Zuma has signed a proclamation allowing the special investigations unit to probe allegations against Gauteng's provincial department of health for matters relating to unlawful and improper conduct on the part of 28 non-governmental organisations, tasked with taking care of mental health patients who were transferred from the Life Esidemeni Healthcare facility.
