Zimbabwean Govt to Build U.S.$1 Billion Mugabe University

Zimbabwe's cash-strapped government plans to build a university named after the man accused of leading his country to the brink of economic collapse, 93-year-old President Robert Mugabe. Mugabe, who is chancellor of all State universities, is already struggling to improve facilities for existing universities, where students face crumbling infrastructure and lack of accommodation.
