Tanzanian Govt Says No Buildings Will Come Down as Road Expands
Government plans for an eight-lane expansion of the Morocco-Mwenge road in Dar es Salaam have raised fears that high-rise buildings along the 4.3km stretch may be affected. The busy road's skyline now boasts buildings that host the headquarters of blue-chip companies including Vodacom and Acacia Mining.
A section of Ali Hassan Mwinyi Road in Dar es Salaam, which is to be expanded to eight lanes.
