Kenyan MPs Plot to Fight Salary Cuts

The newly elected lawmakers have accused the Salaries and Remuneration Commission of unfairly targeting them in its efforts to slash the public wage bill. They have launched a bid to block the new pay structure cutting their salaries from U.S.$6 900 to U.S.$6 017 per month.
