Ugandan Sheikh Appeals Life Imprisonment Sentence for Terrorism

Former Tabliq Sect leader, Amir Umar Mohammed Yunus Kamoga, is to appeal the life sentence handed to him after his terrorist conviction. The trial of Kamoga and 13 others followed the murders of Sheikhs Mustafa Bahiga and Ibrahim Hassan Kirya and other Muslim leaders about three years ago.
