Uganda Ruling Party to Introduce Bill on Presidential Age Limit
After months of speculation and repeated government denial, a large group of ruling party MPs have announced that they intend to table a bill in Parliament which seeks to remove the constitutional cap of of 75 years of age for presidential candidates. President Yoweri Museveni will be 76 in 2021 and cannot run for the presidency again - unless the constitution is amended.
