Ugandan Cabinet Says Yes to Extending Presidential Age Limit

After a long meeting, the Ugandan cabinet publicly declared its full backing for ruling party MPs pushing a bill to scrap the constitutional presidential age limit. The effect of the amendment will be to extend President Yoweri Museveni's three-decade grip on state power.
