Gupta Citizenship Due to 'Investments' - South African Minister

The decision made by Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba to grant the controversial Gupta family citizenship during his tenure as minister of home affairs in 2015 was based on business investments and social partnerships with 75 North West schools, Home Affairs Minister Hlengiwe Mkhize said in Parliamen, then said she may have come to the same conclusion as Gigaba had she been in the portfolio at the time.
