Hundreds Die in Somali Attacks

More than 250 people are reported to have died in an attack on the Somali capital, Mogadishu. President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed Farmajo has ordered the national flag to be flown at half-mast in honour of those killed.

The most powerful blast ever witnessed in Mogadishu has killed 276 people and injured 300 others, the country’s information minister said early on Monday. The toll was expected to rise.
