Nigeria Elected to UN Human Rights Council

Nigeria has won re-election for the 2018 to 2020 term. The UN Human Rights Council is an inter-governmental body responsible for promoting and protecting human rights around the world.  Nigeria has served the global community on the UNHRC for three terms since the establishment of the Council in 2006.
