Ugandan Singer Bobi Wine Sues Police Over Cancelled Shows

Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, popularly known as Bobi Wine, is accusing police of threatening to end his music career by interfering in his stage performances and is seeking damages for interfering with his constitutional rights. Earlier this week, Kampala Metropolitan Police Commander Frank Mwesigwa said Bobi Wine would not be allowed to perform at live concerts until investigations into his conduct at recent events were completed.
