Malabu Oil Deal: Nigerian Govt Recovers U.S.$85 Million From UK

The government says that the United Kingdom has returned U.S.$85 million - part of the stolen funds from the Malabu U.S.$1.1 billion oil deal. The money was seized at the request of Italian prosecutors who were also investigating the deal. The government also says that negotiations with Switzerland on the return of U.S.$321 million recovered from the late Sani Abacha family have been concluded.
