Ugandan MPs Injured in Parliament To Go to India for Treatment

Two members of parliment injured in the September 27 attack on parliament by presidential guard troops will be travelling to India for further treatment. MP Betty Nambooze has said that the ministry of foreign affairs talked directly to the government of India to allow her travel there, while colleague Francis Zaake Butebi is determined to find his own funding. Both say the Uganda Medical Board has delayed too long in sanctioning their treatment outside the country.
