Prominent Zimbabwe Lawyer Mahere Arrested

Firebrand Harare lawyer and aspiring member of parliament, Fadzayi Mahere, is facing charges relating to her decision to organise a social football match in her constituency. Mahere, a sharp critic of President Robert Mugabe and his ruling Zanu PF government, recently launched her electoral bid for 2018 harmonised elections.
