Age Limit Debate - MPs Storm out of Uganda Parliament

The group, led by the opposition's Winnie Kizza, walked out in protest against Speaker Rebecca Kadaga's decision to suspend their six colleagues. When the House resumes, the presentation of the committee's report on the pros and cons of the Constitution Amendment Bill, 2017 will continue. Of all the proposals in the bill, the one that has attracted attention is the proposal to repeal Article 102 (b) of the Constitution to expunge term limits for presidential candidates.
