Tanzania Risks Losing Aid Over Vote Against Trump - Analysts

On December 21 Tanzania was among 128 countries that voted in favour of a U.N. General Assembly resolution rejecting U.S. President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Analysts say that the country risks losing U.S. financial support because of the vote, but deputy minister for foreign affairs Suzan Kolimba says Tanzania cannot be swayed by foreign aid in its decisions on local and international affairs.
