Nigerian Property Owners in UK Panic Over New Tax Law
Nigerians who own property in the United Kingdom have scrambled to pay taxes owing to the Nigeria government before a clampdown ensues. Nigeria, through the Voluntary Assets and Income Declaration Scheme, has been compiling data on property, bank accounts, share holdings and other sources that suggest that many individuals living in the UK, have not been paying the correct taxes.
