South African Authorities Raid Gupta Family Residence
The South African Police Services crimes unit The Hawks has raided the Gupta family home in Saxonwold, Johannesburg. The Guptas, who have close links with President Jacob Zuma, were named in former public protector Thuli Madonsela's State of Capture Report as having benefited from lucrative tenders and having an influence on key ministerial positions within government.
