Archbishop Wants Talks with Museveni About Govt Interference

Kampala Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga has said he wants to discuss with President Yoweri Museveni allegations that the government is recruiting clergy as spies. "All along... [President Museveni] has been saying religious leaders are interfering with politics, it is the reverse. It is the government interfering with the Church," Lwanga said on the sidelines of the Inter Religious Council of Uganda governance retreat in Entebbe.
