South African Police Seize Vehicles of Alleged Underworld Boss

Suspected underworld kingpin Nafiz Modack and some co-accused in his extortion case have had difficulty reporting to police stations. Despite it being stipulated in their bail conditions, officers have allegedly prevented them from reporting to stations and turned them away, saying they were not welcome. Modack and his fellow accused allegedly took over security operations at clubs and restaurants, and forced owners to pay them.
