Inside the Meeting That Tore Apart Kenya's Election Body

In a caucus on the crisis at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, prompted by the forced leave of CEO Ezra Chiloba, Vice Chairperson Consolata Nkatha and commissioner Paul Kurgat openly questioned Chairman Wafula Chebukati's decision. Chebukati was furious, Nkatha and Kurgat were agitated, while commissioner Margaret Mwachanya was eager to be told why such a "weighty decision" had been made while she was on official duty in Dubai, according to The Nation.
