Nigerian Army Rescues 1,000 Boko Haram Hostages
The hostages, consisting mainly of women and children, as well as some young men who had been forced to become Boko Haram fighters, were rescued from four villages in Borno State, military spokesperson Texas Chukwu said in a statement.
