MP Charged With Robbery After Attack on Nairobi Business Official

East African Legislative Assembly lawmaker, Simon Mbugua, alongside three other people, is accused of robbing former Nairobi business official Timothy Muriuki of U.S.$1,000 and injuring him at a Nairobi hotel, when they allegedly grabbed him and forcefully led him out of the hotel as he read a statement allegedly tarnishing Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko's name.
