Health Workers Crisis: Are Nigerian Doctors Asking Too Much?

Medical doctors and other health workers have been on the warpath for long, with the contentious issue being salary adjustments. The battle took another twist as medical doctors threatened to withdraw their services if the government gives in to the demands of other health workers who have been on strike for over three weeks. The Joint Health Sector Unions embarked on a nationwide strike to demand salary adjustments, promotion arrears, and improved working conditions for its members.
