Is Zimbabwe Ready to Hold Crucial Elections in July?

Zimbabwe's first presidential and parliamentary elections since the end of Robert Mugabe's long rule will take place in July, President Emmerson Mnangagwa has said, adding that he'll proclaim the actual poll dates at the end of May. The polls will be the first major test for the new leader, who took power in November 2017 after a military takeover that forced 94-year-old Mugabe to resign.
