Over 5,000 Mining Licences Issued With a Word of Caution

The Tanzania Mining Commission has announced that it issued 5,108 primary mining and prospecting licences, with a caution that whoever violates the regulations agreed upon will have their licenses revoked. According to the Commission Chairman, Idris Kikula, licences were only granted to those who submitted applications before July 4, 2017.
