Govt Employs Over 6000 Teachers to Cope With Shortage

Deputy Minister in the President's Office responsible for Regional Administration and Local Governments Joseph Kakunda says the government has employed 6,495 teachers for both secondary and primary schools to fill gaps left after sacking of those with fake certificates. In 2017 Tanzanian President John Magufuli ordered the dismissal of almost 10,000 civil servants who were found to have presented fake academic certificates.
