Is Nigeria's Police Inspector Idris a Law Unto Himself?

Lawmakers led by Senate President Bukola Saraki, were appointed by their colleagues to discuss with President Muhammadu Buhari the controversy surrounding the actions of the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris. Idris has not attended any hearing set by the Senate for him to explain the action taken on conflict between herdsmen and farmers, the Dino Melaye court case and the concerns raised by Saraki, of an alleged plot to implicate him in a serious murder case.
