Leaders Discuss 'The Africa We Want' at #AfricaDay Conference

The 20th African Renaissance Conference in Durban will see the gathering of over 500 leaders, both in the private sector and government, from across the continent. May 25 marks Africa Day, the annual commemoration of the foundation of the Organisation of African Unity in 1963.

This year’s Africa Month is celebrated under the theme “The Year of Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela: Building a Better Africa and a Better World” and “The Year of Mama Albertina Sisulu: Building a Better Africa and a Better World”.

President Raamaphosa called on African youth to embrace their greatness, quoting Nelson Mandela who said: "Sometimes, it falls upon a generation to be great. You can be that generation. Let your greatness blossom."
