Minister Slams 'Naked Dancing' at South African Choir Festival

Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga has condemned what she called a "public display of nudity" by a group of teenage school girls during the Eastern Cape leg of the ABC Motsepe Schools Eisteddfod and Traditional Music programme. Minister Motshekga disputed social media commentary saying this was a part of the young women's' Xhosa culture, adding that there was "no need to expose the teenage girls in such a fashion in a school competition environment".
