U.S. Vows to Fight Against Al-Shabaab Despite Loss of Soldier

Thomas Waldhauser, Commander of the U.S. Africa Command, has said that its special forces will continue to partner with African Union Mission in Somalia to degrade militant threat posed by the extremist groups in Somalia. Al-Shabaab has claimed responsibility for an attack in which a U.S. commando killed and four others were wounded when they came under fire in the country.
