Tunisia Comes Through With Africa's 1st World Cup Goal!

allAfrica's Juanita Williams may not be a soccer expert, but she knows an exciting game when she sees it, and like most Africans, is just thankful that Tunisia lifted some of the pressure from Senegal's shoulders. The Carthage Eagles became the first goalscorers from the continent at the World Cup in Russia - and no own goals!

Ferjani Sassi successfully took the penalty for Tunisia.
