Dar es Salaam Has a Big Trash Problem

According to the Tanzania National Bureau of Statistics, the amount of waste generated in Dar es Salaam has doubled to 4,600 tons in 2017 from 2,000 tons recorded in 1998 and is expected to triple to 12,000 tons in 2025.
