Ramaphosa Fires Jiba, Mrwebi From South African Prosecuting Body

Nomgcobo Jiba and Lawrence Mrwebi's dismissal from the National Prosecuting Authority comes after retired Constitutional Court justice Yvonne Mokgoro's recommendation that President Ramaphosa sack the two advocates. Jiba and Mrwebi were suspended in October 2018 after Ramaphosa announced his decision to institute an inquiry into their fitness to hold office.
