The present report covers political, security, military, humanitarian and human rights developments in Darfur, since my report [PSC/AHG/4(XXIII)] to the 23rd meeting of the Peace and Security Council (PSC), held in Libreville, Gabon, on 10 January 2005. The report also covers developments relating to the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) signed by the Government of the Sudan (GoS) and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement/Army (SPLM/A), in Nairobi, Kenya, on 9 January 2005.
