The World Bank Booster Program for Malaria Control in Africa was established in 2005 to assist African governments in effective interventions to bring malaria under control on the continent. This progress report concludes that the Booster Program has made 'marked and positive progress, but there is still much to be done to defeat this preventable and treatable disease'.
