Besigye Injured in Protest March Unrest

FDC leader Dr Kiiza Besigye is nursing an injury on his right finger, an injury he sustained following a scuffle involving his supporters and military police, at Masooli on Gayaza Road. The FDC leader was rushed to a city hospital by Uganda Red Cross, where he was treated an discharged. In an interview with NTV after his medical check up, Besigye castigated police for using excessive force when controlling crowds.
