It is now evident the government is fully committed to carrying out its resolve to protect the country from the threat posed by Somalia's Al Shabaab militia.

The Kenyan military has already entered the Somalian territory and is busy marshalling troops at key border points in preparation for what authorities term as a major strike against the militants. And as NTV's Richard Chacha reports,Tourism minister Najib Balala has hailed the move by the military, terming it a major step towards securing Kenyan borders.
