Elections Date Tussle Plays Out in Parliament

It is now emerging that next year' s election may well be held in December after all. That follows a ruling by the speaker that a bill seeking to amend the constitution was tabled properly before the house. But as NTV's Nimrod Taabu reports, the government will now have to contend with a section of backbenchers, who are vehemently opposed to the proposed amendment.
