Doctors' Strike: Union Denies Deal

Two more patients have died at the Coast General Hospital in Mombasa after doctors failed to resume work. The patients had turned up for treatment after it was announced that the strike had been called off. This comes just moments after the Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union rejected yesterday's Government return-to-work offer. Chairman of the Doctors union, Victor Ng'ang'i says his members have rejected the offer and that the strike will go on.
