UN & AU endorse plan to eradicate LRA

The hunt for Joseph Kony's Lords Resistance Army rebels has been intensified in the region following the United Nations endorsement of a regional strategy to tackle the threats posed by the rebels. The revelation was made in Kampala by senior UN and AU officials who have just concluded a three day meeting in Entebbe where they discussed the modalities of implementing a joint strategy with Ugandan officials.
