Reactions To Manual Voter Registration in Kenya

The decision by IEBC to opt for the manual voter registration has kicked up a political storm, with some leaders describing it as a step backwards. Those of this school of thought suggest the election would rather be delayed so as to have the electronic registration in place rather than use the manual system. And in Parliament, Speaker Kenneth Marende ordered the Legal Affairs and the Constitution Oversight Implementation Committees to jointly probe the matter and table a report in the House within 14 days.
