Kenyan Govt Tables Offer For Doctors

In a bid to end the doctors' strike that has nearly crippled operations in public hospitals for the last two weeks, the Cabinet offered 1.9 billion shillings to cater for doctors' extraneous allowances. The government however warned that doctors who will not accept this latest offer will be sacked and an emergency recruitment drive to replace them promptly embarked on.
