Kenya: Fake Phones to be Switched Off

In less than 24 hours, an estimated 2.5 million Kenyans whose mobile phone handsets are fake will have their gadgets switched off. The directive by the Communications Commission of Kenya is being effected from Sunday midnight. But, as Denis Otieno reports, the campaign to rid the country of counterfeit handsets has presented the perfect opportunity for manufacturers of the genuine gadgets to boost their sales.
