1996 will forever remain a day etched in the minds of many but most especially for the girls who were abducted by the LRA Rebels. 139 girls from the Senior One and Two dormitories of Aboke high school in Gulu were rounded up in the wee hours of that day. Hours later, 109 were released and 30 ordered to remain behind.
