Muslim leaders are up in arms over the arrest and detention of nominated MP Sheikh Mohammed Dor over his alleged links to the Mombasa Republican Council. The nominated MP who was arrested on the way from his Runda home in Nairobi has since been taken to Mombasa where he is to be arraigned in court. A section of Muslim leaders had earlier in the day given the government a 48 - hour ultimatum to disclose the whereabouts of the MP. This comes as Mvita MP Najib Balala sought to distance himself and the nominated MP from claims that they were bankrolling the secessionist movement. Hussein Mohammed has that top story.
