International criminal court prosecutor Fatou Bensouda, who is in the country for a one-week visit, has warned that no one is immune from prosecution under the Rome statute, meaning that should either Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta or Eldoret North MP William Ruto be elected president in the March 2013 elections, they would still have to undergo trial for crimes against humanity at the Hague-based court.

Bensouda, who addressed her first news conference in Nairobi, at the same time expressed concerns over alleged attempts to intimidate some witnesses and warned that the court would not tolerate such moves. Alex Chamwada reports.
