Uganda's Deputy Speaker Suspends Oil Bill Debate

Parliament has delayed passing the oil debate bill due to controversial amendments left out by the Natural Committee resource. The delay means the government cannot license oil companies though the governement went ahead to license Mputa and Nzizi exploration area disregarding a moratorium instituted by Parliament.
