The mining crisis is in part being blamed for South Africa's growth forecast slowing to 2.5 per cent this year.
The country's finance minister delivered his mid-term budget on Thursday. Pravin Gordhan says it's not a catastrophe, but struggling families are not so sure. Al Jazeera's Tania Page reports.
