New Rail Station Opens in Kenya's Capital

The rail transport system in Nairobi is set for a major revamp as the much awaited Syokimau Railway Station finally opens its doors to the public on Tuesday this week.

The ultramodern railway station is part of 10 new stations being put up by the Kenya Railways Corporation within Nairobi and its environs to support commuter rail services within the city and its outskirts. Denis Otieno gives us the details of this upgraded facility expected to ease traffic congestion within the city.
